My name is Jessie Lane and Chris Walker is my husband. I believe things happen for a reason, don't you. Well I stumbled upon this article http://www.sptimes.com/2008/02/29/Southpinellas/US_Rep_CW_Bill_Young_.shtml and halfway through I realized my son was your daughters donor. He died at 28 days old last year ( he is a twin) and when we were working with life link they told me few detail that helped me make my decision to make him a donor. I was opposed to it until they explained that they located a local family (for all children s) and that they had a twin girl that was in desperate need of a heart. I took it as a sign (being local and a twin) His one year is this week. His twin sister turned 1 this past Jan 28th. I am so happy and I believe my son had something to do with me finding the article. It gives me great comfort to know his life gave others a chance and not a day goes by that I don't pray for the families that received his organs and wish for their happiness, and health. I hope you do not feel this is inappropriate but It just feels right to introduce myself.
